For any Montgo Vegetarians veterans, Sofia's needs little
introduction. But for anyone who has not experienced their cooking before, we can assure you you are in for a
treat - possibly the best food we have eaten anywhere on the Costa Blanca, and carnivore friends say the
same. Simply, these guys can cook.
They have created a lovely vegetarian menu and offered a us
a flexible option, as the meals are always so plentiful - choose two courses for 18.50€ or three courses for 22€, (either option includes bread, water and half a
bottle of wine). You need to pre-order though, as he is making this just for us. So, the question
is, can you resist the sound of these desserts? I am not sure I can... Well, it's been ages since
we had a group night out!

Soup - (sorry not sure what but obviously veggie)
Balsamic roasted red onion tart topped with crumbled goats cheese and rocket leaves
Polenta crusted spicy bean cakes served with a tangy lemon and lime mayonnaise (non-dairy we think)
Main
Crisp filo parcel stuffed with spinach pine nuts, raisins, ricotta cheese served with a roasted red pepper
sauce
Greek style stuffed cannelloni with woodland mushrooms sun-blushed tomatoes and roasted cashew nuts glazed with
a creamy feta cheese custard
(non dairy) Stuffed aubergine with Moroccan spiced cous cous chickpea salsa and harissa
Dessert
Delectable chocolate and Bailey’s cheesecake served with soft whipped cream
Light lemon chiffon mousse topped with sweetened raspberries
Individual apple and red berry crumble topped with an almond and oat crunch served with either fresh pouring
cream of vanilla ice cream.
