Something new for May -

Ca Pepe in Moiraira is run by Alan and Sonia Jenkins, who create high quality food based on local seasonal ingredients. They offer a great regular a la carte for lunch and dinner, as well as tapas, and have been identified by a couple of our regular members as being vegetarian-friendly and creative. We are delighted that they are hosting our May outing, and they have put together this delicious-sounding menu for us to select from:

Starters...

Endive, blue cheese, pear and walnut salad

Cauliflower Soup with chive truffle oil

Tomato gallette and basil oil

Main Course...

Pea, mint and gorgonzola risotto

Butternut squash, hazelnut and goats cheese strudel with tomato sauce

Chargrilled vegetables, tabbouleh with harissa and coriander yoghurt

Dessert...

Pineapple carpaccio, mint, chilli and lime syrup with coconut ice cream

Chocolate pot and homemade honeycomb

Fresh strawberries, mint sugar and chantilly cream

This event is priced at €18pp and will include 1/2 bottle of wine, water for the tables and bread and alioli.
