Montgo Vegetarians

After gastronomic experiences from around the world, for June we will sample the local speciality dish - paella. It will be a traditional Spanish meal, but totally vegetarian!

Veggie tapas, gazpacho, paella, fresh fruit & ice cream, half bottle of wine or equivalent beer/water for 16.50€. Casa Pepe's is in Balcon Al Mar and is a short way off the road from Javea leading up to the light house at Cabo de la Nao (called Ctra Cabo de la Nao!). Please ask if you would like directions to be sent, it will take you about 10 minutes driving up from central Javea.

It is a beautiful setting and there is a swimming pool if anyone wishes to use it - this is a family event and everybody is welcome, the kids can always have a dip if the grown-ups want to linger over coffee in true Spanish weekend lunch style.

The restaurant was featured in Gourmet 2009 along with Sofia's and Monsoon Cafe. Montgo Vegetarian's founders have eaten there lots of times over the past two years, and always take guests there for a good paella!
