Mongto Vegetarians' Menu

 

Starters:

Tofu prepared 3 different ways; marinated tofu, battered and fried, served on an Asian salad.

Salad with vegetables battered in tempura accompanied by balsamic syrup.

Creamy pumpkin soup with chives mascarpone.

 

Main Course

“Pasta al pesto” Home made tagliatelle fried with onion, capers, olives, basil, cherry tomatoes and green asparagus, topped with home made pesto.

“Tomato and mozzarella pie” Tomatoes, mozzarella, parmesan and home made pesto on puff pastry prepared in the oven served with rocket salad and ratatouille.

Rissoto served with capunata (Sicilian aubergine dish) with brie battered in tempura.

 

Dessert:

Home made vanilla ice-cream with fresh fruits and warm caramel sauce.

Parfait of whisky and vanilla with a chocolate sauce.
