Monsoon Cafe, Javea
Friday 26th February 2010, 2pm

Something a little different for February, lunch overlooking Javea's Arenal beach, enjoying fresh
and delicious Thai food.
Because every item on Martin and Jamila's menu can be prepared as a vegetarian option
(substituting tofu for any meat, and omitting fish sauces and stocks), we have not requested a special menu for
us... we will have far greater choice than usual from the main list, which includes Thai curries, stir fries,
noodles, soups, rice and lots of wonderful savoury combinations, all helpfully 'chili coded' to enable safe
selecting! Children's options are also available.
To find Monsoon Cafe, you need to be down the 'Masymas' end of the Arenal. From the main
carpark with the new roundabout, walk along the beachfront to your right, and take the steps up just before
Scallops restaurant, there are some building works blocking a clear view but behind there you will see their
outside tables from the top of the steps. You can also park at the very end of Ultramar and take the steps
down towards the beach, turn left after the first flight (ie half way down), past the sushi restaurant and the bar
on the corner where you'll turn left again. It is a bit tucked away, but well worth seeking out. Let's
hope they get their big sign up again soon!
Although we don't need to order our food ahead of time, please can you complete the form below to
reserve your place at the Montgo Vegetarians table:
